If you have been dealing with back pain look at the hips. If they are not moving as well as they should that stress can go to the low back. If you are a desk jockey you need to add this in to your routine. Our hips are a big joint that can accept a lot of force with activity. If we lack hip motion that stress will travel to another part of the body. One of the most common places for this is the low back.
After mobilizing and getting the hips to open up you should follow up with some stability exercises to keep the positive changes that where made.
