I have been receiving therapy with Scott for over 4 years and it has been a game changer for me. I play competitive senior softball and am active with CrossFit training so I have seen Scott for both injury rehab as well as preventive measures to make sure I stay in as good condition as possible to optimally participate. His background as a professional sports PT as well as a CrossFit athlete himself allows me to not just “rest” to recover but to get back to my sports activity as soon as possible. Scott is awesome!
I came to see Scott while training for the Boston marathon and he helped me immensely in my rehab. A friend of mine recommended to see Scott awhile back and my only regret is that I didn’t go see him sooner. Another related injury came up during my training and 2 weeks before Boston I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to finish the race. Scott figured out how to help me so that I was able to complete my training runs again and get back into a competitive mindset. I was thrilled I was able to complete the marathon nearly pain free. If you are an athlete or were once an athlete and are motivated to get healthy, I highly recommend Scott!
5 stars for Surf & Shore! Scott is like the witch doctor of physical therapy. I’ve walked into my appointments with uncomfortable back pain unable to walk, and walked out feeling normal again. Visits to S&S can be for maintenance, recovery, and injury. Scott is not only an expert in the field, but he is personable and I enjoy catching up with him. I recently moved off island, and I’m going to miss visiting Scott and getting fixed up when I’m broken. :’-(. I highly recommend Surf & Shore for your physical therapy needs. Thank you, Scott. You’re going to be missed!
I’ve had a pinched nerve in Nov 2016 and have been suffering with pain and numbness. I’ve seen multiple health care professionals for this problem with no relief. My first session with Scott, he was very professional and great bedside manner. Armed with his knowledge of anatomy and physiology, he immediately identified the problem area and worked on it with multiple techniques. He also gave me some home exercise recommendations which I’ve seen before but helped me with proper instruction. I am already starting to have a lot of improvement in mobility and reduction of pain in the few sessions I have had with Scott. Highly Recommended.
