Surf and Shore Performance Center was created to fulfill the need of the active people in Hawai’i. Surf and Shore is the only sports-specific Physical Therapy clinic on O’ahu. I am an experienced Physical Therapist and athlete.
I started young playing baseball, basketball, soccer and snowboarding. What was left of my time was spent exploring the outdoors of my backyard—the mountains of Boulder, Colorado. I kept active in sports through my childhood and adolescent years. I was kept from sports in my final year of high school due to a knee injury and resulting surgery. My parents are practiced PTs. This, along with my own experiences help to build my career in sports rehabilitation. Required to sit out my senior year of high school, I participated as a student athletic trainer. I continued the role in college at the University of Oklahoma where I worked with the football and baseball teams. In 2003, OU Football went to the National Championships.

I kept busy in my summers, as I was fortunate to have internships in 2004 and 2005 with theNew York Football Giants. Following graduation from OU, with a degree in Health and Exercise Science, I continued onto Physical Therapy school at the University of Southern California. In 2011, I graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree then returned to Colorado as the Team PT for the Denver Broncos Football Club. I spent two seasons working with the team. Following this, my wife and I moved to Hawai’i and I gained further orthopedic experience working for 2 years at Jaco Rehab prior to starting our new adventure with Surf and Shore Physical Therapy and Performance Center, LLC. In Hawai’i I have continued my passion for being active with golfing, hiking, surfing, and CrossFit.
While in PT school I met my wife, Tiana, a local girl from Kamehameha. She works here as a pediatric Physical Therapist. Together we have two bright and beautiful girls Tiare and Mahina, who love the beach and being outdoors and in the water. Hawai’i is our home.
